Chance Press is a small press started in 2008 by Jordan and Justine Hurder. Our goal is to publish innovative books in striking editions that combine modern printing methods with traditional techniques such as letterpress and hand binding. While there are many authors who we admire and hope to publish, we are also excited to publish authors who have had limited to no success getting published before- authors who work hard and write well and who the world would enjoy seeing in print.
Chance Press editions will not be confined to a single genre or category; although we are just starting out, we look forward to publishing poetry, fiction of all lengths, essays, visual art, and whatever else we find that we want to share with the world.
